Web Table Talk on Urban Water Supply and Sanitation

The role of ‘water tools’ in urban water and sanitation facilities was the main topic during the NICC-Web- Table-Talk held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. The recording of this is available here online.

The NICC – Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Web-Table-Talk revers to the NICC Urban RSS timeline.

The timeline provides an overview of key governance and management developments and the game changers of urban water utilities over the past 75 years.  How have owners, regulators and customers changed? How have urban water utilities in developing countries responded? The aim of this webinar is to discuss how lessons from the past can help in addressing future challenges in managing urban water supply and sanitation. Stichting NICC invites participants to reflect on the design and usefulness of the timeline and on how lessons learned from the past can help us in avoiding mistakes and improving performance.

The NICC – Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Web-Table-Talk was hosted by the NICC Foundation, presented by the timeline creators: Ad Sannen, Jan Willem Overbeek and Maarten Blokland. Moderated by Esther van Loon. The timeline can be found here
