On 7 March, we invited two experts to share their knowledge about the value of oral history and to answer all your questions.
Marene Elgershuizen, historian with experience in oral history and advocating for women’s rights, introduced us to what oral history is and why it is a valuable method, particularly for collecting stories of women or minority groups.
Marina de Regt is professor in anthropology at the VU university discussed oral history from the perspective of feminist anthropology, which also lead us to discuss the role of oral history in international cooperation.
